Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation becomes sponsor of Lviv women’s handball club “Halychanka”
Eleven-time champions of Ukraine, the team has been competing in Poland’s PGNiG Superliga Kobiet since 2022. In 2024, “Halychanka” earned the championship title in the Liga Centralna.
Nearly all of the team’s players are members of various age-group national teams of Ukraine. One of the club’s greatest achievements and sources of pride is that “Halychanka” is made up entirely of homegrown athletes. This highlights the club’s rich legacy, which dates back to its founding in 1989.
“We are proud to support such a legendary women’s handball club as ‘Halychanka.’ Over more than 35 years, this Lviv-based team has become one of the flagships of Ukrainian women’s handball. We believe our partnership will bring even more success to the team at all levels, and we remain committed to supporting Ukrainian sports,” - in the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation noted.

Over the course of three months, athletes from the SMK-SPORT sports sections, which are fully funded by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, won more than 60 medals of various types
These include boxers training at SMK-SPORT clubs in Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, Sumy, and the village of Shchaslyve in Kharkiv Region, as well as athletes from the rowing school in Bila Tserkva, which was revived and is fully funded by the Foundation.
