Restoring the youth rowing school—following the model already successfully implemented in Bila Tserkva—is one of the key priorities of the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation for the next two years
This was discussed during the first Charity Forum, «Partnership for Life: Government, Community, Charity».
Currently, athletes from Kharkiv train in the Kyiv region, and the restoration of the school will allow them to train at home again.
Reviving the youth rowing school is important for the Kharkiv region not only from a sports perspective, but also as an investment in the healthy future of young people.
This initiative will promote an active lifestyle, create new opportunities for the development of children and teenagers, and strengthen the region’s sporting image.
In addition, the operation of a modern water sports facility will serve as a catalyst for hosting regional and national competitions, positively impacting local infrastructure and the economy, while also contributing to the overall recovery of the community.

Denys Paramonov: Six Years of Charity Changing Lives
Charity became part of my life gradually. As my business grew, I began supporting people whenever I saw a need—providing direct assistance, helping athletes, and backing cultural initiatives. At first, these efforts were occasional rather than systematic. There was no long-term strategy, no structured programs or clear priorities. Despite the ongoing security threats in Kyiv, the Center’s highly skilled medical team continues to fight for the lives and health of the most critically ill patients, ensuring uninterrupted treatment and diagnostic care. The hospital’s management asked the Foundation to provide external protective shutters for the building’s windows.
Sport
Young athletes from the rowing school in Bila Tserkva, which has been revived and is fully funded by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, are currently taking part in a training camp
The intensive program allows them to sharpen their skills as they prepare for the Ukrainian Youth Canoe Sprint Championships.
