Philanthropist and founder of the eponymous charity foundation, Denys Paramonov, allocated funds for the purchase of a modern ultrasound machine for the Heart Institute. This equipment will make it possible to provide accurate diagnoses and save patients’ lives. Its cost reaches several million hryvnias, and the Institute is unable to purchase such technology on its own. That’s why the medical institution’s management turned to Denys Paramonov for support. The benefactor emphasized that in recent years, he and his team have become reliable partners for the Heart Institute, providing it with cutting-edge medical equipment. Therefore, they decided to help once again by purchasing the new ultrasound device.
There were many achievements among the athletes from the sports clubs funded by the Foundation. Hanna Okhota, a representative of the SMK-SPORT club, won a bronze medal at the Boxing World Cup in India. As part of the Ukrainian national team, she showcased her skill and determination to win. Hanna trains at the Sumy branch of the SMK-SPORT boxing club network, which is supported by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation.
The handball players of the Halychanka club continue to secure victories in various tournaments. They are currently leading the Ukrainian Super League and rank among the top six teams in the Polish Super League. The club is sponsored by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation. The youth football team Alpha from the Shevchenkivska community also demonstrated impressive performance. The young footballers won second place in the Kharkiv regional tournament. The Alpha team is supported by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, which provided the players with uniforms and sports equipment, and also gifted them a power station so the children can continue training in the gym even during electricity outages. Meanwhile, three boxers from the SMK-SPORT club, funded by the Foundation, won medals at the Kharkiv Region Championship. Arthur Kulikov and Yaroslav Rudenko claimed gold, while Artem Kurchenko earned silver.
An open day was held at the rowing school in Bila Tserkva. Two years ago, the Foundation revived the school and has been fully funding it ever since. This support has enabled the coaches to nurture a whole generation of young champions — the school’s athletes regularly win top places at competitions both locally and nationwide.
During the open day, residents of Bila Tserkva saw firsthand how the dream of restoring rowing in the city has become a reality. In the village of Shchaslyve, a festive concert titled “Golden Autumn” was held under the patronage of the Foundation. The event was preceded by an exhibition of children’s creative works, which took place in the lobby of the SMK-SPORT club. The concert featured performances by children from various local groups and sections that operate thanks to the Foundation’s support.
Caring for children is one of the key areas of activity for the Denis Paramonov Charity Foundation. On World Children’s Day, marked on November 20, the Foundation emphasized its commitment to continuing programmes that support the development of young Ukrainians.
We are also providing support to educational institutions. For instance, new furniture was delivered to the Kharkiv Professional College of the Food Industry, which trains food industry specialists for the entire country. The upgraded furniture will significantly improve the quality of the learning environment for the students. The Foundation has also taken on a mission to help stray dogs in Bohodukhiv. At the of volunteer Tetiana Pylypenko, building of special shelters for the care, treatment, and rehabilitation of stray dogs is set to begin. The animals will stay there after being sterilized and vaccinated.
The Foundation launched the “Forest of Kindness” project, through which anyone can take tree seedlings to make their surroundings greener and improve the environmental situation. The city of Zmiiv in Kharkiv region kicked off the project — dozens of unique trees have already been planted in the central park, transforming it into a real attraction for local residents.
In Mykolaiv, the Foundation helped organize leisure activities for children whose parents are in captivity. The kids visited the Mykolaiv Academic Regional Puppet Theater and participated in clay modeling and sushi cake-making workshops. The events were held in cooperation with the Regional Consultation Center of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
The #GuidesOfGoodness project, dedicated to the Foundation’s 5th anniversary, has come to an end. For over three months, we shared stories about Ukrainians who drive the country forward every day.
