SMK Fishing team shows high class at Ukrainian Street Fishing Cup
Street fishing is one of the most popular sport fishing activities in the world today.
The competitors have to catch as many big fish as possible within the city limits.
So, the best athletes from all over the country gathered in Kyiv, including world and Ukrainian champions, as well as many other professional participants.
By the way, the Ukrainian Street Fishing Cup has a high rating of competitions according to international criteria.
The SMK Fishing team, the youngest of all the teams, also took part in the National Cup. The athletes of this team were supported by the Denys Paramonov Foundation.
The team still managed to take a worthy place in the competition. By the way, during the pre-competition training, the SMK Fishing athletes caught a huge catfish, one and a half metres long and weighing 40 kg.

Charity became part of my life gradually. As my business grew, I began supporting people whenever I saw a need—providing direct assistance, helping athletes, and backing cultural initiatives. At first, these efforts were occasional rather than systematic. There was no long-term strategy, no structured programs or clear priorities. But the scale of our support kept growing, and eventually it became clear that it was time to build something more. That happened in 2020. Despite the ongoing security threats in Kyiv, the Center’s highly skilled medical team continues to fight for the lives and health of the most critically ill patients, ensuring uninterrupted treatment and diagnostic care. The hospital’s management asked the Foundation to provide external protective shutters for the building’s windows.
