The Halychanka handball team, sponsored by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, has kicked off the season in both the Polish Superliga and the Ukrainian Championship
In the Ukrainian league, during the opening round, they played on their new home court, the Shuvar Arena, claiming victory over Rivne Youth Sports School №4.
In the Polish Superliga, Halychanka currently holds one win and one defeat.
On September 27, the Lviv players will play an away match in the EHF Cup against the Spanish team Replasa Beti-Onak, with the return match scheduled for October 4 in Bilgoraj, Poland — the arena where Halychanka hosts its Superliga home games. The team is now preparing for their upcoming European Cup matches.

Denys Paramonov: Six Years of Charity Changing Lives
Charity became part of my life gradually. As my business grew, I began supporting people whenever I saw a need—providing direct assistance, helping athletes, and backing cultural initiatives. At first, these efforts were occasional rather than systematic. There was no long-term strategy, no structured programs or clear priorities. But the scale of our support kept growing, and eventually it became clear that it was time to build something more. That happened in 2020. On July 30, I founded the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation.

Despite the ongoing security threats in Kyiv, the Center’s highly skilled medical team continues to fight for the lives and health of the most critically ill patients, ensuring uninterrupted treatment and diagnostic care. The hospital’s management asked the Foundation to provide external protective shutters for the building’s windows.
