Young athletes from the rowing school in Bila Tserkva, which was restored and is fully funded by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, won a number of medals at the Championship of Ukraine
They competed as part of the national teams of Kyiv and Kharkiv regions in the "Dragon" boat rowing competitions held in Volochysk, Khmelnytskyi region.
In the "Youth" category in the open class among 12 teams, the team of Kyiv region took gold, dominating over their opponents at the distances of 200 meters and 2000 meters.
In the mixed class, where there are also at least four girls in the boat, they won silver.
Two second places at once were also won in the "Juniors" class of 15-18 years old, where the team of Kyiv region competed jointly with Kharkiv athletes. Our rowers conceded to the winners of the races by only one and two seconds, respectively. Besides, five athletes from the rowing school in Bila Tserkva at once made it to the National Team of Ukraine, which will participate in the European Championship to be held in July in Munich.

The hospital’s management asked the Foundation to provide external protective shutters for the building’s windows.
