An open day was held at the rowing school of the Youth Sports School «Zmina» in Bila Tserkva. The institution is funded by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation
Many city residents came to see with their own eyes how one of the city’s most beloved sports was revived in Bila Tserkva over the past two years.
As part of the school’s 2nd anniversary celebration, rowing machine competitions and fun relay races were organized.
Representatives of the Bila Tserkva authorities also came to congratulate the rowing school.
A unique short film showcasing the development of the school was presented on a large screen for guests and students.
To conclude the event, a festive table with various treats provided by SMK Group and the Kyiv Meat Processing Plant was arranged for everyone.
«Rowing in Bila Tserkva has always been extremely popular, but at some point this sport completely declined here. Today, we have something to be proud of, as dozens of children are now training at the school. Its students are winning more and more prizes at both regional and national competitions. We are on the right track!» - in the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation noted.
