The School of Cities and Communities Opens with Denys Paramonov as Co-Founder
The School of Cities and Communities has officially opened, with philanthropist Denys Paramonov, founder of the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, becoming one of its co-founders. The School will cooperate with Ukrainian communities to improve the quality of municipal governance.
The newly established institution is a significant event for Ukraine, as it will comprehensively cooperate with communities at various levels throughout the country.
The School of Cities and Communities will implement innovative educational programmes to improve governance in communities. Highly qualified expert support will be provided at all stages and levels.
All employees of local government authorities will be able to undergo specialized training at the School, enabling communities to effectively overcome the challenges of today, including those in the energy sector.
“We have an ambitious goal—to improve the efficiency of local government authorities, enhance cooperation between government and business, and create joint projects,” said philanthropist Denys Paramonov. “We all understand that the war will end, and the country will have to be rebuilt. The effectiveness of the reconstruction will depend precisely on decisions made and implemented at the local level. The knowledge and skills that you gain at the School will be in great demand. In addition, the School will address the issue of education in communities and improve the qualifications of our teachers and school principals.”
We would like to remind you that the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation systematically supports Ukrainian hospitals by purchasing various medical equipment worth millions of hryvnias for them. Special attention is paid to equipping the Heart Institute.
