With the support of the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, the Summer Opera Fest continues at the Kharkiv Opera
The festival opened with the one-act ballet “Inside the Music”, set to the music of George Gershwin, and “Bolero I.R.” by Maurice Ravel.
The audience was delighted by the production, which invited viewers into a dialogue with the music.
The combination of outstanding music and dance created an extraordinary performance on stage, where everything seemed to come alive to the rhythms of jazz and classical music. The ballet was also full of dynamic energy, while pianist Maksym Chub, through his virtuosity, became an integral part of the performance.
On the same premiere day, the audience also had the opportunity to enjoy another ballet, Bolero I.R. In this way, tribute was paid to Ida Rubinstein, whose name is closely intertwined with the cultural history of Kharkiv.
The Kharkiv Opera Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Yurii Diachenko, added a special charm to the performance.
