Denys Paramonov: Children with Heart Defects Will Receive the Best Conditions for Treatment at the Cardiac Surgery Center — We Will Provide the Facility with Modern Equipment
The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation will provide the Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery in Kyiv with costly equipment for treating children with severe heart defects.
Today, the Kyiv Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery is one of the best in the world, as it applies all modern and advanced methods of treating children with congenital and acquired heart conditions. However, the medical institution constantly requires new state-of-the-art equipment to keep up with global treatment standards. Unfortunately, in most cases, the Center is unable to purchase such equipment on its own.
“We understand all the challenges faced by the specialists at the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, because the lives of young Ukrainians depend on their work. That is why we cannot remain indifferent. After receiving a request from the Center’s management, we immediately decided to provide the medical institution with everything necessary. The latest equipment will help save even more children’s lives for the future of Ukraine,” - Denys Paramonov, philanthropist and founder of the eponymous charity foundation, noted.
The donation includes two syringe pumps that ensure stable and controlled delivery of medications. In addition, the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation will provide the Center with six pairs of radiation-protective glasses to reduce exposure for medical staff. The total cost of this new equipment is about a quarter of a million hryvnias, and it will help doctors perform surgeries and interventions with greater accuracy and safety. The medical facility will also receive chairs for everyday needs.
It should be reminded that earlier, the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation provided the Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery with a central monitoring system that enables high-quality, continuous monitoring of 16 patients at once. In addition, the medical institution received specialized furniture for the operating room.
