The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation supported the publication of a photo album dedicated to the history and present-day Kharkiv
The project was created by Gabriel Mykhailov, historian and researcher of the city’s history Maksym Rosenfeld, and photographer Volodymyr Bysov. The photo album «Kharkiv — Hero City» was published in a print run of 1,000 copies. As part of its Cultural_Code program, the Foundation allocated 100,000 UAH for these purposes.
«This unique photo album features the streets, squares, architectural ensembles, and everything connected with the unbreakable city of Kharkiv. It is a kind of journey through time, as readers can see both contemporary and historical locations of the city. As they turn the pages of the photo album, everyone has an opportunity to travel to another era. Our support for the publication of the photo album «Kharkiv — Hero City», — is our contribution to the development of the city’s cultural heritage», — the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation noted.
Previously, with the Foundation’s support, the book-photo album «Kharkiv Region» by G. Mykhailov and V. Bysov was published, as well as «Kyiv. Past and Present» by G. Mykhailov, V. Bysov, S. Hrabar, and V. Shulha.
