Denys Paramonov Foundation donates ophthalmological equipment for children to Cherkasy hospital
Recently, the management of the Cherkasy Regional Children's Hospital asked the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation to provide special equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmological pathology in young patients.
"Every year the doctors of this medical institution provide ophthalmological care to more than 2,000 children and perform about 500 surgical operations on the eyes of young patients, including many children from other regions who were forced to move to Cherkasy region with their parents," - in the Foundation noted.
Therefore, the Foundation donated equipment to the ophthalmology department of the Cherkasy Regional Children's Hospital, where children, including newborns, are screened and treated
The equipment consists of an intraocular pressure tonometer and a direct electric ophthalmoscope.
The total cost of the equipment is almost 200 thousand UAH.
It was purchased thanks to the Tesla for Donation campaign initiated by philanthropist Denys Paramonov.
