The Nadiia Youth Initiative Charity Foundation and the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, with the support of their partners, purchased essential medical equipment for medical institutions in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Donetsk region for a total amount of 7.6 million UAH.
A cutting-edge VIMS ARTHROVIMS 7K arthroscopy stand, worth about 4,000,000 UAH, was donated to a Kyiv medical institute. It will be used during operations on injured limbs, allowing for easier detection and removal of bone fragments without the need for tissue cutting.
Frontline hospitals also received modern equipment as part of the humanitarian mission to the East. An Insighters set, consisting of a video laryngoscope, a rigid bronchoscope and a flexible video bronchoscope was delivered to the Dnipropetrovs'k region. It will be used during surgery, anesthesia, difficult intubation and when foreign bodies need to be removed from the lungs or upper airways.
A military hospital in the Donetsk region received an advanced, expensive Fuji kit (Japan) to equip a gastrocolonoscopy room. This equipment will help in the examination and treatment of patients with shrapnel wounds and internal bleeding. The Kharkiv hospital received two modern patient warming systems to treat hypothermia and related complications in the pre- and post-operative period.
“The availability of the necessary equipment can literally save the lives of the wounded in situations where minutes count and the injuries are too severe. That is why our team has been working for more than a year on the supply of advanced, expensive equipment to frontline hospitals and medical facilities across the country. Our main goal is to help doctors save as many lives of our defenders as possible,” - Valerii Dubil, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Nadiia Youth Initiative Charity Foundation and First Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on National Health, noted.
“For a number of years now, our Foundation has been systematically involved in the improvement of the quality of medical services in hospitals. Together with our partners, we are able to provide medical institutions with very expensive and modern equipment. The most important thing is to save the lives of Ukrainians, because today it is the greatest value. Ukraine can only have a bright and peaceful future with a healthy nation, and that is only possible with quality healthcare. In order to provide hospitals with medical equipment, our Foundation is constantly organizing various events to raise funds for the purchase of medical equipment,” - Denys Paramonov, the philanthropist and the founder of the eponymous Foundation noted.
