Four hospitals in Cherkasy receive essential medical equipment with support of the Denys Paramonov Foundation

Like many cities across the country, Cherkasy is receiving internally displaced persons (IDPs) who have fled their homes due to danger.

«Certainly, all this increases the burden on medical institutions. In addition, the local population seeks medical care much more often in winter. That is why we have joined forces with Cherkasy's medical institutions to support them in this difficult time», - in the Denys Paramonov foundation noted.

All healthcare facilities received wheelchairs, orthopaedic cushions, 20 boxes of shoe covers and 5-10 boxes of medical caps and gowns. Some hospitals also received medicines.

We would like to thank the Nadiia Youth Initiative Charity Foundation, Global Empowerment Mission Ukraine and the Howard G. Buffett Foundation for implementation of this charity mission.

Thanks to the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, protective roller shutters have been installed on the windows of the building of the State Institution “Center for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.”

This has significantly increased the level of safety for both the medical facility’s patients and its medical staff. In addition, high-value professional medical equipment of the Center for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery will be protected.
