The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation has supplied a powerful 30 kW generator to a Point of Invincibility located at Kharkiv Lyceum №160 and has also opened two hot meal distribution points for the most vulnerable residents of the Nemyshlianskyi district.

One of Kharkiv’s Points of Invincibility operates at Kharkiv Lyceum №160, where local residents can eat, charge their devices, warm up, and rest in comfortable conditions. However, regular power outages have created operational challenges, including for the hot meal distribution center located on the school premises.

As a result, the Nemyshlianskyi District Administration appealed to the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation to provide a generator to ensure the uninterrupted operation of both the Point of Invincibility and the meal distribution center during extended power cuts.

“This is a place where more than 1,500 people come every day, including many elderly residents. Here, they can not only warm up and receive food, but also feel genuine human support that helps unite people in overcoming all challenges. We have equipped this Point of Invincibility with a very powerful 30 kW generator, which will fully address any issues related to electricity shortages.” said philanthropist and founder of the Foundation, Denys Paramonov.

According to Larysa Shevchenko, Principal of Kharkiv Lyceum №160, the school serves as a key support hub for distributing hot meals to vulnerable groups and individuals facing difficult life circumstances.

“In order to provide our residents with hot meals that sustain them and help them get through these cold days and nights, we prepare freshly cooked food every day. However, when electricity is cut off, preparing 1,500 to 1,700 meals becomes extremely difficult. Our previous generator was not powerful enough and could support only two small electric stoves, so we had to finish cooking on wood-burning stoves. We are deeply grateful to the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation for providing a high-capacity 30 kW generator. It will supply electricity to the entire cafeteria, which includes two roasting ovens, two electric stoves, and two electric frying pans. This is precisely the level of power we needed,” Shevchenko emphasized.

In addition, the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation independently launched extra hot meal distribution points in the Nemyshlianskyi district. Every day, 300 portions of nutritious set lunches are provided to those most in need, while social workers deliver meals to residents with limited mobility.

“Together with our reliable partner SMK Group, we opened hot meal distribution points to ensure that as many residents of the Nemyshlianskyi district as possible have access to tasty and nutritious food. Over the course of a month, we will distribute 6,000 meal portions. Many households rely on electric stoves, and without electricity it is impossible to prepare a meal. A high-quality diet is especially important for elderly people so they can maintain the energy needed to endure the cold. We understand how vital our support is, and we are doing our best to assist Kharkiv residents in these extremely challenging times.” said philanthropist Denys Paramonov.

At the beginning of the year, following a request from the Kyivskyi District Administration of Kharkiv, the Foundation also helped provide meals to emergency service workers operating in the city center to eliminate the consequences of destruction.
