See what good deeds the Denys Paramonov Foundation has been up to in February (VIDEO)
During the last month of winter, the Foundation did many useful and good deeds.
Within the framework of the HEALTHY programme, the P. V. Voloshyn Institute of Neurology, Psychiatry and Narcology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine received a lung ventilation device. The medical institution is unable to purchase this expensive equipment, so the Foundation responded to the request by donating a lung ventilator. It costs 750,000 UAH and will save the lives of hundreds of patients in the intensive care units of the P. V. Voloshin Institute of Neurology, Psychiatry and Narcology. The Foundation also initiated a medical check-up for employees of the SMK Group. In February, employees of the Kharkiv Region Gas Service and the State Emergency Service attended tactical medicine courses organized by the Foundation. All those who completed the course received certificates after the training and will be able to provide quality first aid in case of need.
We immediately responded to a request from residents of Shchaslyve village to repair their roofs after the hurricane. Now they will be able to improve their everyday living conditions.
Much attention has been paid to the sports area that the Foundation developed in February. For instance, we began supporting the Kuchurhan Children's Football Club in the Odesa region. Meanwhile, children from the Katana Sports Club in the village of Mykhailiv, Kherson region, won a number of victories at a karate tournament in Bucha. The Foundation helped to arrange a trip for the young athletes to the Kyiv region, as they could not afford it on their own.
Foundation-supported boxer Khrystyna Yushchuk won a bronze medal at the Ukrainian Championship. In addition, the Foundation organized a winter skiing camp in Poland for Ukrainian children living abroad. The SURPRISE choreographic ensemble won the Grand Prix at the International Festival. This children's group from Bohodukhiv is fully supported by the Foundation.
As part of the cultural projects developed by the Foundation, we supported young people from the Kharkiv region who make Ukrainian dolls using ancient methods. These dolls were even presented at a meeting of the Ukrainian delegation with the Pope in Italy. At the request of the Kharkiv Philharmonic Orchestra, we provided the cultural institution with new concert costumes, much needed for performances. More than a hundred libraries across the country received a book about Hryhorii Skovoroda, published on the Foundation's initiative.
Thanks to the treadmill purchased by the Foundation, hundreds of four-legged animals underwent rehabilitation at the Patron Pet Center in Kyiv. The funds for the treadmill were raised by employees of the SMK Group after the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station was blown up at the beginning of June and dogs affected by the flood were brought to the capital.

Denys Paramonov: Six Years of Charity Changing Lives
Charity became part of my life gradually. As my business grew, I began supporting people whenever I saw a need—providing direct assistance, helping athletes, and backing cultural initiatives. At first, these efforts were occasional rather than systematic. There was no long-term strategy, no structured programs or clear priorities. Despite the ongoing security threats in Kyiv, the Center’s highly skilled medical team continues to fight for the lives and health of the most critically ill patients, ensuring uninterrupted treatment and diagnostic care. The hospital’s management asked the Foundation to provide external protective shutters for the building’s windows.
Sport
Young athletes from the rowing school in Bila Tserkva, which has been revived and is fully funded by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, are currently taking part in a training camp
The intensive program allows them to sharpen their skills as they prepare for the Ukrainian Youth Canoe Sprint Championships.
