The children’s football team “J. O. Y.” from the Odesa region, supported by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, earned medals at a recent youth tournament held in the city of Teplodar, Odesa region.
Three teams participated in the mini-football competition: HFC “J. O. Y.”, FC “Lyman” from the village of Nerubaiske, and Youth Sports School “Enerhetyk” from Teplodar.
The matches were intense and emotionally charged, with the summer heat only fueling the young players’ determination to win. HFC “J. O. Y.” defeated both of its rivals — beating Teplodar’s team 2–1 and overcoming the peers from Nerubaiske 4–2. As a result, HFC “J. O. Y.” from Kuchurhan emerged as the tournament champion. Over the course of three months, athletes from the SMK-SPORT sports sections, which are fully funded by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, won more than 60 medals of various types
These include boxers training at SMK-SPORT clubs in Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, Sumy, and the village of Shchaslyve in Kharkiv Region, as well as athletes from the rowing school in Bila Tserkva, which was revived and is fully funded by the Foundation.
