See what good deeds the Denys Paramonov Foundation has been up to in July (VIDEO)
During the second month of summer, the Denys Paramonov Foundation managed to do a lot of good deeds.
Hospitals began to receive medical equipment thanks to funds from the Tesla for Donation campaign initiated by philanthropist Denys Paramonov. In July, medical institutions received diagnostic devices and equipment worth almost 1 million UAH.
For instance, Okhmatdyt in Lviv received an endoscopic monitor and an endoscopic camera worth 330,000 UAH. This will significantly improve diagnosis and surgery for young patients.
At the same time, the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children's Hospital received ophthalmological equipment worth 190,000 UAH, as there are many children with visual impairments in the region. A variety of medical equipment was also donated to four other healthcare facilities where children receive treatment. These are a polyclinic in Kharkiv, hospitals in Pisochyn, Krasnohrad and Pervomaisk.
Nearly 20 hospitals received supplies and hygiene products with the help of the Foundation and its partners. These are medical institutions in the Donetsk, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Kherson regions and Kyiv.
It should also be noted that philanthropist Denys Paramonov and the SMK Group donated 1 million UAH for the reconstruction of Okhmatdyt after the events of 8 July.
Much has been done in the sports sector, which is being rapidly developed by Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation. For instance, we have bought uniforms for a children's football team from the village of Sharivka in the Kharkiv region and are continuing to build a modern stadium in the village of Horkoho.
FC NIKA SMK, whose president is philanthropist and businessman Denys Paramonov, continues to win the Kharkiv Region Championship. In July, the team won all four of its matches in July and is currently second in the table.
At the same time, the coaches of the rowing section, which operates in Bila Tserkva thanks to the Foundation, won prizes at the European Championships. We are talking about Olena Skvortsova, who won 4 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals, and Mykola Verkhovetsky, who won 6 gold and 3 silver medals.
Thanks to the Foundation, a new ring has been installed at the SMK SPORT boxing club in Sumy, where Ukrainian champion Khrystyna Yushchuk, who is strongly supported by the Foundation, trains alongside many other children. Khrystyna was recently elected captain of the Ukrainian boxing team.
On 30 July, the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation celebrated its 4th anniversary. During this time, many charity projects and programmes have been implemented. We support the residents of the de-occupied territories, publish books, take care of artists and youth, and develop free sports for children.
The medical side of our work is also worth mentioning. Last year alone, the Foundation provided various equipment and medical supplies to 350 hospitals in all regions of the country.
