On 21 September the exhibition 'Kharkiv by Skovoroda in Portraits and Cityscapes', held under the auspices of the Denys Paramonov Foundation, will come to an end.
Now is the right time to visit it and enjoy the engravings and drawings of the hitherto unknown 18th century Kharkiv. This is exactly how the famous Ukrainian philosopher Hryhorii Skovoroda saw the city when he first visited it. One of the highlights of the exhibition is a panorama of Kharkiv in 1759. Here you will also be able to find out how various Kharkiv buildings looked like when the Ukrainian philosopher first visited the city almost 300 years ago.
The exhibition 'Kharkiv by Skovoroda in Portraits and Cityscapes' is open from 12 PM to 6 PM at the Heinrich Semiradsky Art Gallery, 6 Maidan Svobody, Kharkiv. The entrance is free of charge.
