The Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital, named after Sklifosovsky, was in urgent need of an audiometer to diagnose the condition of the middle ear.
"This device is extremely necessary for the Centre of Specialised Paediatric Care at the Regional Hospital. Now, in the Poltava region, an increase in acubarotrauma and neurogenic hearing loss in children has been recorded due to the events that began in Ukraine after 24 February. Many children who have moved with their parents from Kharkiv and Sumy regions are also being treated at the medical facility." - the Foundation notes.
That is why the Foundation decided to donate a modern audiometer for diagnosing children's hearing.
The device costs almost 250 thousand UAH and was purchased thanks to the Tesla for Donation campaign initiated by philanthropist Denys Paramonov.
