The European Dragon Boat Championships were held from 2 to 8 July in Racice, Czech Republic. Two coaches from the Bila Tserkva Rowing Section, which is fully supported by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, took part in this tournament.
These are Olena Skvortsova, who won 4 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals, and Mykola Verkhovetskyi, who won 6 gold and 3 silver medals.
“The championship was very difficult because we were competing against very strong opponents. A total of 18 countries took part in the tournament. The Ukrainian team took first place in the team competition and won the Nations Cup,” - Olena Skvortsova told.
The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation congratulates our coaches and wishes them more victories! Now they will pass on the experience of competing at such a high level to the children who row for free in Bila Tserkva.
