Rescuers from the Kharkiv Region State Emergency Service took part in a first aid course organized by the Denys Paramonov Foundation in cooperation with the EAST Tactical Medical Center.
During the training, they acquired additional skills in assessing the victim's state of consciousness and practiced tamponing wounds.
Besides, they practiced assessing airway patency and opening the airway if necessary, as well as preventing and combating hypothermia.
Certainly, they also learnt about the different types of bleeding and how to stop them, as well as how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
“Today, SES rescuers have a very important mission in saving people in critical situations. They are highly qualified to provide first aid to citizens. The TacMed courses have added new skills to improve their work. All those who completed the courses received certificates,” - in the Denys Paramonov Foundation noted.
